This is the first few moments of my one-woman show “impossible body.”
I started writing and performing “impossible body” in 1997 and performed it regularly around Colorado and across the country until 2002. People always asked me what it’s about. I never gave a good answer. It’s autobiographical. It’s about love.
You can view a studio recording made in 2007 on YouTube: here is the link to my channel. Each “scene” is watchable individually - there are 37 parts. You can choose your own order, watch certain ones over and over if you’d like!
Here is some of the media coverage generated - this article is from Westword, July 1998.
Excerpts of “impossible body” were published in:
Revolutionary Voices: A Multicultural Queer Youth Anthology 218 (Amy Sonnie ed., Alyson Books 2000).
The Lesbian Polyamory Reader: Open Relationships, Non-monogamy, and Casual Sex 143 (Judith Stelboum ed., Routledge 1999).
15 Loving More Mag. 4 (1998).
